The second Victorian Integrated Cancer Services Supportive Care Conference (SCC) was held at Melbourne's Hilton on the Park on Monday 11^th July 2011 with the theme of “Supportive cancer care into the future – sustaining, surviving, and growing”.

Building on the success of the inaugural conference in 2009, the conference committee worked with determination and enthusiasm to help make this event an enormous success and a truly memorable occasion.

The central theme of the 2011 conference was explored though engaging plenary sessions, workshops and 6 concurrent sessions covering:

• Implementing change in cancer and palliative care
• Providing Supportive Care; Real life experiences
• Screening in specific patient populations
• Multidisciplinary education and communication
• Adolescent and Young Adults and Family Communication
• Adolescent and Young Adults and Family Communication
